Welcome to Pockee. Pockee is an iOS wish-budgeting and lightweight expense tracking app that helps users manage income, spending, fixed commitments, flexible budgets, and savings goals. When requested by the user, Pockee may also provide AI-generated planning suggestions.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

You may provide the following information while using Pockee:

Account information: Apple sign-in user identifier.
Financial planning information: monthly income, target monthly savings, fixed expenses, flexible budgets, and budget categories.
Ledger information: income, expenses, amount, category, date, and notes.
Wish information: wish name, target amount, saved amount, expected completion time, wish icon, or uploaded image.
AI request content: when you actively use AI planning or purchase-check features, relevant budget, wish, and ledger summaries may be sent to an AI service to generate suggestions.
Support information: information you include when contacting us by email.

1.2 Automatically Generated or System-Provided Information

Device and system information, such as device model, iOS version, and app version.
iCloud sync status used to determine whether data sync is working.
Crash and performance diagnostics if you choose to share diagnostics with Apple.

Pockee does not actively collect your contacts, precise location, full photo library, microphone recordings, or advertising identifier unless a feature clearly requests permission and you grant it.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

Provide expense tracking, budgeting, wish saving, and monthly review features.
Calculate daily available amount, weekly spending, remaining budget, and wish progress.
Generate AI budget plans, purchase checks, and saving suggestions when you request them.
Sync data across devices through Apple iCloud / CloudKit.
Troubleshoot issues and improve app stability and user experience.
Respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information or use your ledger or budgeting data for third-party advertising.

3. Data Storage and Sync

Pockee stores data primarily on your device and may sync it to your iCloud account through Apple CloudKit.

Private data: income, expenses, budgets, wishes, notes, and uploaded icons are stored locally or in the user’s private CloudKit database.
Public configuration: certain non-personal app configuration may be stored in CloudKit public database.
Data transmission: communications with Apple CloudKit and AI services use secure transmission methods such as HTTPS.

iCloud data is managed by Apple’s account system. You can manage iCloud, Apple ID, and app iCloud permissions in iOS Settings.

4. AI Services

Pockee’s AI features are used for budget planning, purchase checks, and spending suggestions. Pockee sends only the minimum information needed for the request when you actively trigger an AI feature.

Information that may be sent includes:

Summaries of current budgets, fixed expenses, flexible budgets, and wish goals.
Recent ledger summaries or questions you type.
Non-sensitive context needed to generate suggestions.

AI features may use:

Volcengine Ark / Doubao large model services.

AI output is for reference only and does not constitute professional financial, investment, legal, tax, or mental health advice.

5. Third-Party Services

Pockee may use:

Apple Sign in with Apple for authentication.
Apple CloudKit / iCloud for data storage and sync.
Apple App Store / TestFlight for installation, updates, subscriptions, or beta distribution.
Volcengine Ark / Doubao model services for AI responses when you use AI features.

Third-party services process data according to their own privacy policies.

We do not disclose your personal information to third parties except:

With your consent.
When necessary to provide a feature you request, such as sending an AI planning request.
When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.
When necessary to protect the rights and safety of users, developers, or the public.

7. Your Rights

You can:

View, edit, or delete ledger, budget, and wish data in the app.
Clear local data or delete app data stored in iCloud from the app settings.
Disable Pockee’s iCloud permission in iOS Settings.
Stop using Sign in with Apple from your Apple ID settings.
Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of relevant data.

8. Children’s Privacy

Pockee is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will delete it within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Data Retention

We retain data as long as needed to provide the service. After you delete the app, local data, or iCloud data, the corresponding data will be removed from your device or iCloud account. Some data may remain for a limited period due to backups, sync delays, or legal requirements.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or platform rules. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this page.
